Enes M. Gampe, 91, of Bedford, passed away Friday at Bedford Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Amelio and Rose (Fusco) Cecere. She later married Robert E. Gampe and he preceded her in death in 1985.
She is survived by a daughter, Christine (Erick) Seager, of Bedford; a grandson, Erick; a granddaughter, Allison; a sister, Lola (Manjit) Singh, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters: Martha Riach and Norma Fusco.
Enes was a 1950 graduate of Altoona High School. She worked for W.T. Grant Co. and retired from Gee Bee department store.
She enjoyed reading, shopping, and spending time with her beloved family.
Enes was a lifetime member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Altoona.
Friends will be received from 3pm to 7pm Wednesday Sept. 20, 2023 in the Santella Funeral Home, where a Rosary service will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am Thursday Sept. 21, 2023 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery.
