Erdyne Polito Obituary
Erdyne Louise "Deena" (Grazier) Polito passed through the pearly gates to be united with her Saviour on Saturday at the age of 86.
Erdyne was born in Altoona, daughter of Clarence and Louise Grazier. She graduated from Altoona Area High School in 1946 and married Crist T. Polito in June 1950.
She was the much cherished mother of Crist A. and Betty Polito of Altoona; much missed grandmother of Christina Polito of Altoona, Chad and Thea Polito of Montreal and Attorney Curt Anthony Polito of Beijing; loving great-grandmother "Boo-Boo" to Matteo and Aidan Polito of Montreal. Erdyne was very fond of her granddogs: Lacey and Bo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Crist; a son, Terry; and siblings: Clarence Jr., Marjorie and Bobby.
Erdyne enjoyed bowling, golf, spending time with her family and was a talented artist. She was humble, gracious, and kind, frequently thinking of others and their needs first.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today, April 27, 2015, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at the Santella Funeral Home, 1106 8th Ave., Altoona, PA 16602. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday immediately following the visitation at the funeral home by Pastor Tyler Pepper and grandson Chad Polito. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
