Eric Matthew Klavuhn, 52, of Bedford, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2024 surrounded by loved ones.
Born September 29, 1971 in Cumberland, MD, he was the youngest son of the late James C. Klavuhn and Olive A. Klavuhn. He was also preceded in death by his brother Mark Klavuhn.
Eric was a 1989 graduate of Bedford High School. He was a loving father, brother, uncle, and friend. He often had a smirk on his face and goofy temperament. Even in his own times of need, he was always willing to help others. In his final act, Eric gave the gift of hope by donating organs.
Eric is survived by his two daughters, Ericka Klavuhn and husband Nick, and Sharees Klavuhn; six siblings, Debra Shinholt, Gary Klavuhn, Cheryl Groves, Brenda Kovach, Angela Stough, Lori Allen, and their spouses; as well as many nieces and nephews.
By his wishes, he will be cremated. His family will hold a memorial service at a later date at Centerville Fellowship Cemetery.
We encourage everyone to celebrate Eric’s life in their own way, remembering the good times, as we all know there were many. He will be greatly missed by his daughters, family, and friends.
