Erminia “Dee” Williams, 83, of Indiana, originally of Altoona, passed away Monday at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Indiana. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Robert and Marie (Pretola) Robertson.
She married Charles Williams who preceded her in death in 1969.
Dee is survived by a daughter, Lori Williams (Gene Hankey); a son, Robert (Thelma) Williams; three grandchildren: Robert (Jaimee) Williams Jr., Amber Miller and Breanna Williams-Hankey; four great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Robert (Brenda) Robertson and John Robertson.
She was also preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Candy Robertson.
Dee was an Altoona High School graduate and worked for the Altoona Post Office as a mail handler.
She was an avid bowler, loved to read, play bingo, attend ticket tournaments, play slots at the casino and on her iPad. She enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends.
Dee was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and lifetime member of the Bavarian Aid Society.
Erminia “Dee” was a kind hearted, loving mother and a friend to all.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, 2024, at Santella Funeral Home, where a vigil for the deceased will be held.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2024, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Committal will be at Blair Memorial Park.
