Frank P. Ferrara

Frank P. Ferrara, 87, Altoona, passed away Monday at his home. He was born in Altoona, son of the late John and Yolanda (Vecere) Ferrara.

He is the last surviving member of his family and was preceded in death by two brothers: Thomas and Gabe Ferrara.

Frank was a 1951 Altoona High School graduate. He worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad as an electrician and later retired from Penn Electric in 1991.

He served in the US Army.

Frank was a member of the Bavarian Aid Society and the A&J IaIa Post.

Frank was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am, Friday, Dec. 4, 2020 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, with military honors. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
