Frederick A. "Fred" Crawford

Frederick “Fred” Anthony Crawford, 82, Hollidaysburg, passed away Wednesday at Presbyterian Village in Hollidaysburg.

He was born in Altoona, son of the late Ann (Mathieu) Morano and stepson to Pat Morano. Fred was married to Lucy Crawford, who preceded him in death in 2021.

He is survived by his daughters: Michelle (Michael) Speicher, of Bear, DE; and Brittany (Brent) Massar of Oakmont, PA; and his three grandchildren: Meghan and Matthew Speicher and Calvin Massar.

Fred is a graduate of Altoona Area High School. He worked as a District Manager for many beer distributors including Pittsburgh Brewing Company and Pabst Brewing Company.

Fred was an avid basketball player and enjoyed watching pro basketball, Penn State football, and Tom Brady play every Sunday for many years. He also enjoyed watching his grandchildren compete in swimming, baseball, and basketball.

Friends will be received from 1pm until the 3 PM funeral service on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at Santella Funeral Home. A private interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery for Fred and Lucy on Monday.
