Geraldine Kines Obituary

Dec. 7, 1919 - May 14, 2020

Geraldine E. Kines, 100, Altoona, passed away Thursday at her home. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late William C. and Anna E. (Murray) Smith. She married Edward S. Kines III on Aug.12, 1939 and he preceded her in death on Dec. 28, 1993.

Surviving is a daughter, Andrea; a son-in-law, Jeff; 3 grandchildren: Matthew, Rachael, and Zach; 4 great-grandchildren; and a brother, William.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rosemarie.

Geraldine was a 1937 graduate of Altoona High School. She served as a homemaker in her own home.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or services. Arrangements are by Santella Funeral Home.
