Gregory Lamertina Obituary
Gregory M. Lamertina, 55, Altoona, passed away Wednesday at home after a brief illness.
He was born in Altoona, son of Robert and Priscilla (Smith) Lamertina. On April 3, 1993, he married Darlene Troutman in Altoona.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years; three daughters: Priscilla P. Lamertina, Melissa M. Grissinger and Kim L. Hinish; two sons: Todd Nagle and Donnie Nagle; two sisters: Kathleen Rhoades and Patricia Wolfe; two brothers: John and Charles Lamertina; and 13 grandchildren.
Gregory was a 1977 graduate of Altoona Area High School.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1977-80 as a Private 2nd Class, where he was awarded marksman for rifle and hand grenade. He also was awarded the Humanitarian Service Medal.
Friends will be received from 4 to the 6 p.m. funeral service Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014, at the Axe and Santella Family Chapel, 1534 Fourth St., Altoona.
In memory of Gregory, donations may be given to the funeral home to help with funeral costs.
