Jacqueline E. (Weakland) Smith

Jacqueline E. Smith, 84, Altoona, passed away Thursday at Hillview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Chester J. and Ruth A. (Hartswick) Weakland. She later married Charles Smith and he preceded her in death on Jan. 28, 2007.

She is survived by 2 sons: Richard (Mary) Young, of Altoona and Scott (Angeline) Young, of California; 7 grandchildren; and a sister, Ruth Ann (Herman) Frederick, of Altoona.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Young.

Jacqueline was an Altoona High School graduate and worked for over 20 years with Blair Insurance Services. She worked as an office manager at Garvey Manor until her retirement.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Altoona.

Friends will be received from 9:30am until the 11am funeral service, Wednesday May 5th, 2021 in the Santella Funeral Home. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery.
