Janet D. (Shaw) Wance

Janet D. (Shaw) Wance, 86, of Altoona, passed away unexpectedly at home. She was born on Oct. 2, 1936 in Duncansville, daughter of the late Ross and Mabel (Magill) Shaw. 

She is survived by: daughter, Melissa; granddaughters: Stacy, Christina and Danielle; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, April; sisters, Shirley and Glenna; and brothers, Don and Dale. 

Also surviving is her little dog, Pintos, whom she loved dearly. 

In accordance with Mom’s wishes there will be no services held. 

Contributions in Mom’s memory may be made to Central Pa Humane Society, 1837 E Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602 - as she loved every dog she ever met.
