Jay Paul Watson

Jay Paul Watson, 65, of Altoona, passed away Wednesday at his home. He was born in Jeannette, son of the late John R. Sr. and Genevieve R. (DeAugustine) Watson.

He is survived by his brother, Jeffrey A. (Mary L.) Watson and children, of Butte, MT; an aunt, Jean DeAugustine, of Jeannette; an uncle, Jay (Sandra) Watson, of Lake City, Fl.; loving cousins, nieces, and nephews; and a special, life-long friend, Dawn Baier.

Jay was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father, Nick Hornung; a brother, John R. Watson Jr.; and a nephew, Robert J. Watson.

Jay was a graduate of Altoona Area High School and Mount Aloysius Junior College, earning an Associate degree.

A Celebration of Life will be held on March 25, 2022, from 10:30am until the 12pm memorial service in the Santella Funeral Home.  Reception to follow.  Private interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
