Jerome E. Mitchell, 77, Duncansville, passed away Saturday at Cambria Care Center in Ebensburg. He was born in Altoona, son of the late William and Adelaide (Sarvis) Mitchell.
He is survived by 4 daughters: Mary (Dan) Mitchell, Ann (Wyatt) Cresswell, Regina Polito, and Denise (David Sparrow) Mitchell; 5 grandchildren: Michael, Aubrie, Morgan, DJ, and Peter; and one great-granddaughter, Isabella.
He was preceded in death by siblings: Lenore and Gary.
Jerome was an Altoona High School graduate and retired as a mechanic for PennDot after 35 years of service.
He was also honorably discharged from the United States National Guard.
He enjoyed hot rods, bodybuilding, and 50s music. He was past President of the Krusin’ Company.
Friends will be received from 10am until the 11am service Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2020 in the Santella Funeral Home. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery.
