Joseph A. DeAntonio

Joseph A. DeAntonio, 63, Roaring Spring, passed away Sunday at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Anthony J. and Carmella J. (Mollica) DeAntonio.

He is survived by a daughter, Sara DeAntonio; three siblings: Cathy (Joe) Ickes, Carmel DeAntonio, and Anthony (Roseanne) DeAntonio; half-sister, Debbie (Caz) Allmond-Kielczynski; many nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and nephews.

Joe was a 1977 Altoona High School graduate and later graduated from Mount Aloysius College with an Associates in Science degree. Joseph served in the United States Navy and later retired from Blank Book Co.

Joe was an avid golfer, loved bowling and fishing. He also loved to spend time with his dog, Leo.

Services are being held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Santella Funeral Home.
