Joseph Paul Pulcinello, 68, Altoona, passed away Sunday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Nick and Jennie (Moschella) Pulcinello.
He is survived by two sons: Matthew J. and Paul J. Pulcinello; two grandchildren: Dominic and Giana Pulcinello; a sister, Patricia Meintel; special nephew, Erik Mentzer; and longtime friend, Lou Page.
Joe was a 1971 graduate of Altoona High School and received a Paralegal degree from Harrisburg Community College in 1980.
He worked for Penn Central, Conrail, and Norfolk Southern.
He enjoyed baseball, managed 8th Ward Baseball team in the 1970’s, coached Little League for Long’s Tile, and won a championship in 1970. He was a big Steeler, Pirates, and Notre Dame fan, as well as a baseball fan. He was a member of the Bavarian Hall.
Joe was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church.
A private visitation will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends will be received at the 11am funeral Mass Thursday, March 3, 2022 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church.
