Joseph Allen Troutman, 71, Altoona, passed away Sunday at the James E. VanZandt Medical Center. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Beanie and Rose (Sinisi) Troutman. On September 18, 1987, he married Marlene Lepore.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marlene; 2 daughters: Tara Troutman and Lynsay Montgomery; a son, Dwaine Harris; 5 grandchildren: Mayson Becker, Zyle Smith, George Jackson-Shepard, Gaheim Jackson and Niobe Jackson; a sister, Dawn J. Desborough; and his aunt, Karen.
Joseph was a graduate of Altoona High School and served in the United States Navy. He later worked for Lumax in the maintenance and lighting lines department.
He enjoyed comic books, train watching, painting and watching old TV shows, like Gunsmoke. He had a special love for animals, especially cats.
Friends will be received from 5-7pm on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at the Santella Funeral Home. A brief military service will be held at 6pm by the Blair County Veteran's Honor Guard.
