Judith A. “Judy” Weaver, 83, Duncansville, passed away Wednesday at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Russell and Ada Marie (Boslet) Reeder. On October 8, 1960, she married Vernon Weaver.
She is survived by her loving husband, Vernon; a daughter, Diane (Pete) Stoehr; a son, Gary (Monica) Weaver; 5 grandchildren: Sabrina, Adam, Samantha, Josh and Corey; and 6 great-grandchildren: Kerry, Landon, Tyler, Joel, Caden and Cora.
Judy was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Reeder.
Judy was an Altoona High School graduate and worked as a homemaker to her family.
She was an avid reader, especially mysteries, and loved her soap operas. She enjoyed bowling, traveling and bird watching. She also loved her Steelers and Nittany Lions.
Judy was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Hollidaysburg.
A private viewing and service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park. Arrangements are by Santella Funeral Home.
