Karen Sue Halleran, 70, Altoona, passed away Saturday at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Zanesville, OH, daughter of the late Kennard and Nancy (Tucker) Cosgrave. She later married Edward L. “Fred” Halleran, who passed away Sept. 10, 2013.
She is survived by 4 children: Christina Siskron and Mark (Jennifer) Siskron, both of Altoona, Kennith (Christina) Best, of Georgia and Charles Best, of California; 13 grandchildren: Joshua, Mercedes, Tabitha, Dakota, Damion, Jeff, Tonya, Jasmine, Austin, Kyle, Jacob, Hayden and Mason; 10 great-grandchildren; and two siblings: Kay (Jack) and Michael Cosgrave.
Karen attended Colonial High School in Florida and later retired as a caregiver for Skills.
She enjoyed crafts, sewing, gardening and spending time with her family and grandkids.
At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing or services. Arrangements are by Santella Funeral Home.
