Kelly Jo (Schoening) Bowers

Kelly Jo Bowers, 56, Altoona, passed away Saturday at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Altoona daughter of Ernest Edgar Schoening Jr. and the late Naomi (Ackerman) Schoening.

She is survived by three daughters: Julie Maurer, Ashley Avery, and Lindsay (James) Bollman; 10 grandchildren: Mia, Mckenna, Lily, Nikita, Elizabeth, Tyler, Katlyn, Anthony, Shayna, and Ashtynn; 2 sisters: Karen Smith and Kristy Schoening; a brother, Michael Schoening; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Kelly was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Schoening.

Kelly was a Regional Manager for Pinncale Cleaning Company. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, hunting and fishing. She was a member of the Mushroom Society in State College.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Santella Funeral Home.
