Linda Jean Mackey

Linda J. Mackey, 81, of Crystal Spring, Pennsylvania entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 15, 2026 surrounded by her family at UPMC Altoona.

Linda was born on September 20, 1944 in Waynesboro, PA to the late Carrie (Green) and  Lawrence Matthews

In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by the love of her life, husband Harold E. Mackey, Sr. whom she married on August 22, 1962.

Linda is survived by her loving children; Edgar (Kim) Mackey of Harrisonville, PA., and Robin (Mike) Yeakle of Hustontown, PA., her sister, Arlene (Rich) Bisecker, her grandchildren, Rikki, Erica, Allen and several great grandchildren.

Linda was Catholic by faith and loved spending time with her family. Linda had a passion for her dogs and spending time with them outdoors. Linda very much enjoyed working at the Knitting Mall in Waynesboro in her younger days before becoming a cook for the Village of Quincy home for many years before her retirement. 

A Funeral Service will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
