Lisbeth Zangrilli Obituary

Lisbeth Ann (Thompson) Zangrilli of Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania, passed away on July 27, 2021 at the Markley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Norristown, PA. Born on January 27, 1952 in Roaring Spring, PA, she was the daughter of Raymond & Charlotte (Wise) Thompson, and the loving wife of Gary Zangrilli.

Lisbeth was a proud graduate of Penn State University and the University of North Carolina. After graduation she would go on to work for Gloucester County, New Jersey, as a Sanitarian and pursued her career as Assistant Health Officer in Connecticut. She would later begin her career for 30 years as a Public Health Nurse for the Montgomery County Health Department. In her spare time, Lisbeth enjoyed knitting, traveling with her husband, spending time with her beloved poodle, Lucy, hosting Sunday dinners with her family, and spending time with her loving grandchildren whenever she had the opportunity. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a dear and kind friend who will be missed by many.

In addition to her loving and devoted husband of nearly 50 years, Gary, Lisbeth is survived by her two loving daughters, Leah Petito, wife of Jackson Petito of Crested Butte, Colorado, and Azelin Zangrilli of Boyertown, Pennsylvania, as well as by her three grandchildren, whom she loved more than anything, Fiona Jackson, Luna Petito and George Petito. Additionally, she is survived by her two brothers, Thomas Thompson of Woodbury, Pennsylvania and Timothy Thompson of Lancaster, South Carolina.
