Lorraine A. Keith

Lorraine A. Keith, 91, Altoona, passed away Saturday morning at Maybrook Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Leonard and Jenny Bocchicchia and reared by the late Guido Sr. and Mildred Santella.

She later married Clyde E. Keith and he preceded her in death on Nov. 19, 1999.

She is survived by 3 sons: Clyde Robert Keith; Russell G. (Dawn) Keith and Kevin (Lena) Keith; 7 grandchildren: Rachael Miller, Dani Keith, Cati Keith, Christopher (Laura) Keith, Brendan (Carol) Keith, Zachary Keith and Alexis (Mikel) Keith; 3 great-grandchildren: Kennadie Miller, Khaidyn Kyle and Morgan Fagan; 2 brothers: Guido (Deborah) Santella and Glenn (Felicia) Santella; an aunt, Margaret Heil; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Connie Bocchicchia and a brother, Michael Bocchicchia.

Lorraine was a 1950 graduate of Cresson High School and later attended Our Lady of Victory in Lackawana, New York for Pediatric Nursing. She worked in Pediatrics at Mercy Hospital. She also enjoyed waitressing at the Kettle Inn and Calvin House for many years.

She enjoyed reading, playing cards, puzzles and crocheting dolls and afghans. She loved spending time with her two dogs, Chase and Shakespeare.

She was past President and member of the Ladies Auxiliary A&J IaIa Post American Legion.

Friends will be received from 4pm to 7pm Wednesday, March 20, 2024 in the Santella Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10am Thursday, March 21, 2024 in the Santella Funeral Home, Pastor Tyler Pepper officiating. Committal will be at Charlottesville Cemetery
