Louis T. Conforto, 93, originally of Altoona, passed away Thursday Oct. 17, 2024 in Bellevue, WA. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Antonio and Maria (Fatigante) Conforto. He later married Regina Colabove.
He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Regina; a daughter, Carleen (Scott) Conforto-deRecat; a son, Michael (Heather) Conforto; 4 grandchildren: David de Recat, Jacqueline Conforto, Olivia de Recat and Michael (Cabernet) Conforto; and 1 great-grandchild, Camden Conforto.
Louis was an Altoona Area High School graduate and worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad.
He enjoyed bowling and all sports, but especially Penn State Football. He also loved spending quality time with his grandchildren.
He was a member of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church Choir and Holy Name Society.
Friends will be received from 10am until the 11am funeral Mass on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are by Santella Funeral Home.
