Louise Mignogna Hryb

In Loving Memory Louise passed away to the Lord at the age of 91 in California.

Louise was born in Altoona, daughter of Dominic and Marie Mignogna. She had been previously married to John Franchio, and John Hryb, both deceased. She attended Altoona High School. After graduating she

married and had two daughters. Louise was a loving daughter, wife, devoted mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by her two daughters, Linda Scafuro and husband Carl, of Westlake, Ohio and Debi Franchio of Cathedral City, California; and two grandchildren, Christopher and Nicolas Scafuro of Westlake, Ohio.

She is preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy and Anthony.

Louise was a working mom most of her life. She worked at Grants Dept Store in Altoona, and was an industrial worker in Cleveland, Ohio.

Louise enjoyed Italian cooking, sweets, reading, card games, walks, movie goer, and travel, especially when she went to see all of Italy. Most of all Louise enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was extraordinary woman and our family’s treasure.

She was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Cleveland.

A celebration of Life will be held at a later date when it is once again safe to gather. She will go to her final resting place in Holy Cross in Calvary Cemetery. A Mass will be held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church on Monday January 25th 7:00 am in her memory and at St. Peter and Paul in Cleveland on Feb. 5th at 8:30 am.
