Lucinda Robertazzi Obituary

Lucinda “Cindy” Jo Robertazzi, 71, of Altoona, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at UPMC Hospital in Altoona. She was born in Altoona, the daughter of the late Frank J. and Cherie M. (Fegan) DelGrosso.

Cindy was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She was preceded in death by her parents, her former husband, Joseph F. Robertazzi Jr., and her lifelong best friend, Annie. She is survived by her son, Joseph F. Robertazzi III of Altoona, and her daughter, Joyce Haggans and husband Will of Spring Hill, FL. Cindy was a proud grandmother to Trey Haggans and fiancée Lucas Gable of Kissimmee, FL, and Cayla Haggans of Spring Hill, FL. She also adored her two grand-puppies, Diva and Lexi.

Throughout the years, Cindy found immense love and support from her many aunts and uncles, who were always there to help when needed. Their presence in her life was a source of strength and comfort.

Cindy cherished her good friends Sarah Wolfe and her daughter Julie and son-in-law Chuck Lerch, who were always there for her. She also shared a special bond with Pastor Richard Henry and his wife Susan, her dear friend and fellow graduate, whose kindness and support over the years meant so much to her.

Cindy was a woman whose kindness and warmth touched everyone who knew her. She had a love for bingo and treasured the time spent with her family, friends, and her beloved grand-puppy, Diva, who was always by her side. Cindy took great pride in attending events at the Jaffa Shrine with her son whenever she could.

Cindy was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Petersburg, PA.

Her joyful spirit, love for those close to her, and ability to brighten any room will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In her memory, let us all strive to love a little more, laugh a little louder, and cherish the time we have with those closest to our hearts.

Friends will be received from 2pm to 4pm Friday, September 20, 2024 in the Santella Funeral Home, where a funeral service will follow the visitation at 4pm, officiated by Pastor Richard Henry. Committal will be private at Beaver Valley Cemetery in Flinton, PA.
