Margaret Ellen 'Peg' Stanley, 89, Williamsburg, went home to be with the LORD at UPMC, Altoona early Tuesday morning after a short illness. She was born in Philadelphia PA, Daughter of the late Herschal B. and Pauline J. (Yoder) Hansen. She Married George E. Stanley Jr. on July 02, 1971 in Stroudsburg, PA.
Surviving are her Husband, her daughter Margaret A. Warden in Arizona, four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a brother, James P. Hansen. Peg graduated from Woodstown High School (NJ). She retired from Burroughs Corporation (Unisys) in 1986 after 18 years as a project coordinator.
She was a member of the Westminster Orthodox Presbyterian Church, and the Pennsylvania Railroad Technical & Historical Society. Friends will be received from 9am to the 10am service Friday August 15, 2014 at the Santella Funeral Home. Rev. Mark R. Brown officiating. Committal will be held at Juniata Memorial Park, Lewistown at approximately 12pm.
