Marian L. Luciano, 99, Altoona, walked into the open arms of her Lord and Saviour, surrounded by her loving family on January 3, 2024, the 100th year of her life, at The Village at Morrisons Cove in Martinsburg. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late George B. and Verna Mae (Howsare) Metzger. She was the former wife of Daniel Luciano.
Surviving are her loving son and daughter: Philip (Nancy) Luciano and Kay (Scott) King; 5 grandchildren: Stephanie (Bob) King-Settles, Col. Angela (Mike) Edmondson, Sarah (Steve) Mitchell, Stacey Moyer and Atty. Philip (Lindsay) Luciano II; and 9 great-grandchildren: Leim King-Settles, Dominic Edmondson, Lucy Moyer, Gracie Edmondson, Sonora Mitchell, Claire Luciano, Guage Mitchell, Maximo Luciano and Alexis Mitchell.
She was preceded in death by 3 siblings: Pauline Ihm, and Henry and George Metzger.
Marian retired from the Altoona Hospital in July 1989.
Marian loved the Lord and her family dearly. She never missed an opportunity to shower her family with Love and affection. She is deeply missed.
Friends will be received from 4pm to 8pm, Tuesday, January 9, 2023 in the Santella Funeral Home. A funeral service will be celebrated at 11am on January 10, 2023 in Santella Funeral Home. Internment will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
