Marie A. Molloy

Marie A. Molloy, 87, Altoona, passed away Monday at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late William and Florence (Clinger) Molloy.

She is survived by her best friend, Sylvia “Mom” Quirin; Sylvia’s children: Chuck, Bruce, Ted, and Bonnie; and Sylvia’s grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by two sisters: Evelyn and Irene; and two brothers: William and Jessie Molloy.

Prior to her retirement, Marie participated in the Skill’s Vocational Training Program. She enjoyed doing crafts, collecting dolls, and had a strong love of faith and God. She loved children and made monthly donations to St. Jude and donated baskets to Easter for Eli.

Marie was supported through Skills Lifesharing for many years.

Friends will be received from 10 until the 11am funeral service, Friday, Sept. 18, 2020 in the Santella Funeral Home. Interment will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
