Marilyn DeMatteis Obituary

Marilyn D. DeMatteis, 79, Altoona, passed away Sunday at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Fiorie and Mary (Benedict) DeMatteis.

She is survived by her brother, Fiorie (Lisa) DeMatteis Jr.

Marilyn was a graduate of Altoona High School and worked for Ward Trucking.

Marilyn loved animals and supported many rescue organizations. She also enjoyed visiting her brother and sister-in-law in New York City. She had a talent for drawing in color, creating her own original designs.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements by Santella Funeral Home.
