Mary Ann Jacobs

Mary Ann Jacobs, 95, passed away Thursday, Oct. 17, 2024 in Loveland, Colorado. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Gabriel and Columba (DiClemente) DiAntonis. She later married Joseph Jacobs and he preceded her in death in 2002.

Mary resided in Colorado where she is survived by a daughter, Renee (Jacobs) Swope and son-in-law Stan Swope,; a grandson, Travis Albright; and a great-grandson, Nico Albright, in Colorado.

She is also survived by sisters: Gilda “Jill” Hammer, Ann Capwell; a brother, James “Pete” DiAntonis; and several nieces and nephews.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by sister Dolores “Dee” Burchfield and 3 brothers: Daniel, Joseph and Richard DiAntoniis.

Mary Ann was a 1946 Altoona High School graduate and later retired after 36 years from Sylvania/Phillips where she worked as a tube welder and inspector.

She was a former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

At the request of the family, a committal service will be held at 11am on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements by Santella Funeral Home.
