Michael Anthony Luciano, 75, Graystone Manor at Bellmeade, passed away Thursday at the Manor.
He was born in Altoona, son of Guy and Rose (D'Augostino) Luciano. He married Marlene Conroy on May 13, 1961, at St. Mary's Church, and she died Nov. 25, 2010.
Surviving are two daughters: Melissa Beidelman (Michael) of Huntingdon and Marie Alexander of Altoona; two sons: Michael (Julie) and Matthew (Michele), both of Altoona; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters: Jane Piccirilli of Hollidaysburg and Rita Luciano of Altoona; five brothers: Guy (Joan) of Hollidaysburg, Robert (Patty) and Anthony (Carol), both of Altoona, Nickolas (Jolene) of Duncansville and Frank (Yvonne) of Hollidaysburg; and a sister-in-law, Janet Luciano.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph; and a brother-in-law, Carmen Piccirilli.
Michael was a graduate of Altoona High School and served in the U.S. Army Reserve during the Vietnam War. He retired as a pressman from Butterick and was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, 2014, at Santella Funeral Home, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 29, 2014, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery.
