Nancy R. Savino

Nancy R. Savino, 87, of Altoona, passed away Saturday with loved ones around her. Nancy was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Joesph and Nina Lamancusa. She married Nick J. Savino on June 20th 1959. He passed away on October 10, 2009.

Nancy was the mother of four children: Mary (Lance) Kilby, Culpeper, VA; Louis, Joseph, and Frank Savino, Altoona, PA. She was grandmother to: Michael (Caitlin) Kilby, Springfield, VA; Nicholas Kilby, Culpeper, VA. She was great-grandmother to: Henry and Claire Kilby, Springfield, VA.

Nancy was preceded in death by two brothers: Carmelo and Santino Lamancusa.

She was a life long member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.

Friends will be received from 4 – 7 pm on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at Santella Funeral Home where a vigil for the deceased will be held.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Thursday, March 13 2025 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions can be donated in Nancy’s name to the Mt. Carmel Church Restoration Fund, 806 - 11th St. Altoona PA 16602.
