Pauline E. Harpster, 89, East Freedom, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Friday morning at home. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Elmer E. and Lillian R. (Burris) Sickenberger.
She later married George Harpster, and he preceded her in death in 2008.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Pauline was preceded in death by two sisters, Marguerite and Lucille Stewart; and a brother, Clarence Sickenberger.
Pauline was an Altoona High School graduate and retired as a 4th grade school teacher from Logan Elementary School.
She enjoyed coloring, crocheting, quilting and painting. She loved traveling and time with family.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or services. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park.
