Philip A. Caporuscio, 65, Altoona, passed away April 5, 2023 at his home. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Harry and Helen (DiNicola) Caporuscio.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Chrystal Caporuscio and her mother, Donata; 3 grandchildren: Matthew Doyle, and Brandon and Kaylie Hamilton; and 4 siblings, Harry Caporuscio, JoAnne Lipple, Anne Skerl and Carolyn Caporuscio.
Philip was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Hannah Dively.
Philip was an accomplished trombone player in the Altoona High School band. He worked as a chemist and lab tech for a cement plant.
He enjoyed the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins. He loved to grill and sit by his firepit. His 4th of July parties will always be remembered.
Friends will be received from 12:30pm until the 1:30 pm memorial service on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 in the Santella Funeral Home.
