Philomena (Georgianna) Giorgianni, 98, Martinsburg, passed away Friday, Aug. 26, 2022 at her home. She was born in Germany, daughter of the late Adolf and Maria (Olaski) Kulik. She later married Rosario Giorgianni and he preceded her in death in 1992.
She is survived by her 3 sons: Russell Anthony (Emma) Georgianna, of Germany, David (Barbara) Georgianna, of Virginia, and Stephen Georgianna (Dawna Padula), of Martinsburg; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 12 step great-grandchildren; special friends: Aggie Thompson and Susan Daversa; many nieces and nephews; her beloved booboo kitty; and dog, Max.
Philomena was preceded in death by a son, Richard Georgianna; a daughter, Rosalene Probst; a sister, Anna Stewart; and two brothers: Arthur and Adolf Kulik.
Philomena was a 1942 Altoona High School graduate. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, bingo, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Unter Uns Women’s Club.
She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
Friends will be received from 9:30 until the memorial service at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday Sept. 14, 2022, at Santella Funeral Home. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park.
