Ralph L. Hildebrand

Ralph L. Hildebrand, 92, Altoona, passed away Sunday at his home, after an extended illness. He was born in Bellwood, son of the late Samuel & Emma Hildebrand. On June 4, 1952, he married the love of his life, and high school sweetheart, Angie Peroni, with whom he shared 72 wonderful years of marriage.

He is survived by his loving wife; son, Bryce Hildebrand, of Hollidaysburg; and two nephews: Lyn Hildebrand and Leslie (Mary Jane) Hildebrand.

He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Ashley Thompson.

Ralph was a 1950 Altoona High School graduate. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

In 1993, he retired after 40 years of service as plant superintendent of Veeder Root.

He enjoyed playing golf and traveling with his wife and friends.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no public viewing or service. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
