Robert J. Huss

Robert J. Huss, 73, Altoona, passed away Tuesday at Hillview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Robert E. and Marjorie A. (Schneider) Huss.

He is survived by a son, Bobby Huss; a daughter, Amy Jo Huss; two sisters: Mary and Lizzy; 4 brothers: Paul, Bill, Phil, and David; and a sister-in-law, Joyce (Jeffrey).

Robert was preceded in death by a special and very close ex-wife, Judy.

Robert was a 1967 Bishop Guilfoyle High School graduate and served in the Navy during Vietnam. He worked for Tritex Sportwear for over 30 years and retired after 10 years as a janitor from the Altoona School District.

He enjoyed shopping for antiques, especially Donald Duck, decorating for Christmas, trains, traveling, and spending time with his family.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or services. Arrangements are by Santella Funeral Home.
