Robert David McFadden

Robert David McFadden, 83, Keyser, WV, passed away Wednesday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Cumberland, MD, son of the late Robert N. and Esther N. (Duvalle) Getter.

He is survived by a daughter, Debra S. (Anthony) Wood, of Keyser, WV, and son Jonathan K. Pendarvis, of Baytown, TX.; 7 grandchildren: Patricia A. McFadden-Jones, of Geneva, OH., Virginia L. (Jeff L.) McFadden-Bentley, of Jefferson, IN, Theresa R. Hendrix, of Fort Myers, FL., Stephanie M. Gulley, of Croppers Cove, TX., Lisa M. Hendrix, of Fort Myers, FL., Stephen A. (Donna) Aleman, of Cincinnati, OH., and Dallas J. Pendarvis, of Baytown, TX.; 15 great- grandchildren: Jeffrey D. Pearce, Bradley A. Gulley, Erik M. Jones, Ashley M. Galbraith, Michael A. Hansen Jr., Amber M. Jones, Jazmine L. Perkins, Vanessa M. Gulley, Marissa L. Gulley (Akira Boast), Nathan A. Gulley, Erik K. Perkins, Peyton J. Perkins, Brooklynn N. Holton, Nathaniel L. Holton and Gabryel C.M. Perkins; one great-great grandchild: Paisley Pooley; and 3 siblings: Robert “Bob” (Kathy) McFadden, of New Jersey, Neva McFadden-Smith, of California and Billy McFadden, of Florida.

Robert was preceded in death by 2 daughters: Barbara Jean McFadden and April McFadden; two grandsons: Jimi Hendrix and Ian J. McFadden; and his maternal grandmother, Clara Mason.

Robert worked as a car mechanic, painter and entrepreneur. He loved reading books, Westerns, being outside to mow the grass and his pitt- lab mix, Lucky,

Friends and family will be received at the 1:00pm Celebration of Life at Loving Hands Outreach Center on Saturday, April 25, 2026: RSVP only. Arrangements are by Santella Funeral Home, Altoona PA.
