Robert J. Moore
April 25, 1949 – April 22, 2024
Robert J. Moore, 74, Hollidaysburg, passed away Monday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Altoona, son of the late William and Mary Grace (Carnevale) Moore.
On April 17, 1971, he married Roseanne Grassi who preceded him in death on Jan. 16, 2023.
He is survived by his son, Christopher (Andrea) Moore; daughter, Danielle McMullen; five grandchildren: Noah Anneski, Andrew and Matthew McMullen, Jacob Moore and Elizabeth Anneski; sisters-in-law: Marie (Butch) Brenneman and Carol Jo (Allen) Smith; honorary family members: Brad and Georgianne Esposito and their children: Marissa Esposito and Zachary Snyder; many nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and nephews; and last surviving blood relative, Aunt Nancy (Layne) Thiele.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lori Anneski.
Robert was an Altoona High School graduate and served in the United States Air Force during Vietnam.
He later worked as manager for Penstan Plumbing and Heating.
Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He was a member of St. Mary’s Church, Hollidaysburg, where he served as Eucharistic Minister and was a member of the finance board.
Friends will be received from 9:30 until the 11 a.m. funeral Mass Friday, April 26, 2024, at St. Mary’s Church, 312 Clark St., Hollidaysburg. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery with full military honors. Arrangements by Santella Funeral Home.
