Shawn A. "Rudy" DeStefano

Shawn A. “Rudy” DeStefano, 45, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Saturday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Michael J. and Darla J. (Bare) DeStefano.

He is survived by his two brothers: Michael (Joy) DeStefano Jr. and Mark (Michelle) DeStefano; two sisters: Theresa Pace and Laurie (Steve) Rabidaux; many nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and nephews.

Shawn was a 1996 Hollidaysburg High School graduate and later graduated from IUP with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management.

He loved playing and watching all sports, including three years on the IUP Rugby team. He was a natural jokester and always had a smile on his face.

A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Santella Funeral Home.
