Shirley A. Siedlarczyk, 89, Altoona, passed away Monday evening at her home, surrounded by family. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Henry and Vera (Short) Pendergrast. She later married Joseph Siedlarczyk and he preceded her in death on June 25, 1993.
She is survived by 3 daughters: Karen (Joe) Hallinan, Debbie (Mike) Glunt and Joanne Havlin; 6 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Barbara Smith and Peggy Albright and a brother, Thomas (Patricia) Pendergrast.
Shirley was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Crystal Cochran; two brothers, Frank and Michael Pendergrast; a son-in-law, Dale Havlin; and her long time companion, Roc Martino.
Shirley was an Altoona Catholic High School graduate and loved being a homemaker to her family.
She enjoyed her many cats over the years. She also loved flower gardening and listening and dancing to music.
She was a member of Newburg Fire Hall.
She was a lifetime member of Our Lady of Fatima, formerly known as St. Leo’s Church.
Friends will be received from 9 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. on Friday, December 13, 2024 at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 2010 – 12th Avenue Altoona PA 16601. A funeral Mass will be celebrated following the visitation at 10:30am. Interment will be Calvary Cemetery.
