Stanley W. Mastalski, 85, of Altoona, passed away Friday, Nov. 12, 2021 in his home. He was born in Beaverdale, son of the late Anthony and Mary (Ketko) Mastalski. He later married Catherine Kowalczyk and she preceded him in death on Sept. 23, 2020.
Stanley is survived by his daughters: Elizabeth (Jim) Noye, Christina (Rich) Wyrwas, Autumn (Mark) Kleiner, Mary (Tony) Miller, Lori Rosser, Jackie (Rob) Rabenstein, Karen Fisher, and Roseann Mastalski; two sons: Michael Mastalski and Randy Kowalczyk; 12 grandchildren: Kelly, Robbie, Ian, Gabe, Kayla, Michael, Andrea, Ben, Katie, Alex, Shanae, and JJ; 14 great-grandchildren; and a brother, John Mastalski.
He was preceded in death by a son, Stanley; grandson, Randy Jae, an infant sister; brothers: Frank, Tony, Henry and Joseph; sister, Dorothy Novack; and his dog, Oddie.
Stanley served in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed gardening, the Steelers, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was extremely proud of his Polish heritage.
Friends will be received from 10am to 11am Monday, Nov. 15, 2021 in the Santella Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 11:30am at Calvary Cemetery with military honors.
