Vicki (Ventresca) McCord, 67, Duncansville, passed away Sunday at UPMC Altoona, two days before her 68th birthday. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Edmund and Regina (DeMatteis) Ventresca.
Surviving are her husband, Charles; her daughters: Molly and Mikayla; her son Michael; and two grandchildren, Taylor and Michael Jr.
She was preceded in death by her brother Frank.
She was a graduate of Altoona High School and Penn State University, where she was a sister of the Kappa Delta sorority.
Vicki had a passion for teaching. She was an elementary school teacher for over 30 years with St. Michael’s Catholic School and Holy Trinity Catholic School.
She loved the beach, and especially loved her yearly trips to the shore with her daughters and her late mother. Her favorite pastime was reading a good book in bed with her dogs or playing backgammon.
Friends will be received at the 11am funeral Mass on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024 at St. Michael’s Church 301 Spruce St. Hollidaysburg. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
