Wayne T. Madden

Wayne T. Madden, 71, Hollidaysburg, passed away Sunday at his home, with his loving wife by his side. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Patrick D. and Anne K. (Kenner) Madden and he later married Cathy Ann Buck.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cathy; 3 sisters: Linda (Andrew) Kittell, Ellen (Paul) Hartle, and Kathy Marshall; 4 brothers: Terry (Linda) Madden, Dennis Madden, David (Karen) Madden and Timothy (Roseann) Madden; and many nieces and nephews.

Wayne was a 1971 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and briefly attended Penn State Altoona Campus. He was co-owner of Madden’s Inc. Mechanical Contractors.

He enjoyed golfing, reading, fishing, cross-country skiing and biking. He was a member of the Catholic War Vets and Hollidaysburg American Legion.

Wayne was a member of St. Patrick’s Church in Newry.

Friends will be received from 10am until the 11am memorial Mass on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at St. Patrick’s Church, 704 St. Patrick’s Lane, Newry PA. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Hollidaysburg.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Masses or donations can be made in memory of Wayne to St. Patrick’s Church, Newry.
