William L. “Wild Bill” Stevens Jr., 60, of Altoona, passed away Saturday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Altoona, son of the late William Sr. and Janet (Zimmerman) Stevens.
He is survived by his loving wife, Michele; children: Danielle and Caleb Stevens, of Bellwood; step-sons: Darrell and Derrick Imler; grandchildren: Brock Hunter, Hayden Osborne, and Kendrick Stevens; step-grandchildren: Hayden and Walker Imler; and 5 sisters: Autumn (Deb) Stevens, Kathy Walters-Hensal, Monica Stevens, Lori McCulloch, and Billiejo Tilson.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Stevens.
Bill was an Altoona High School graduate. He served in the Army Reserves and was a truck driver for many years.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, carpentry, and was a huge Penn State football fan.
He attended New Life Community Church, Altoona.
Friends will be received from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm Friday, Dec. 10, 2021 in the Axe and Santella Family Chapel, 1534-4th St. Altoona. A funeral service will be celebrated at 10am Saturday, Dec. 11, 2021 in the Axe and Santella Family Chapel. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park.
At the request of the family, masks are asked to be worn during the visitation and service.
